Biogas Schwecke GmbH & Co.KG

The biogas plant Schwecke was built in 2007 and was originally fed with only maize.
The electrical output of the plant was 250 kW.
Currently at least a 35% of the total input substrates is cattle manure. The proportion of manure fed will be further increased in order to reduce the amount of maize that is used.
